However, what you actually need (and don’t need) to get started with drawing is outlined below.
What you need
- ✓Use the guided lesson canvas with a mouse, stylus or even touch input. You can also replicate the tutorials with simple paper, a pencil and an eraser. Light pressure, short strokes and attention to detail are enough.
What you don't need
- ✗Botanical knowledge, expensive pencils, color, smooth blending, perfect symmetry or completion of another course.
Time commitment
Allow about 20–70 minutes per lesson. Rose and Bouquet drawings tend towards the longer end and you may like to come back to your drawing at a later date to continue.
Who this course is for
For this course adult students and teenagers who are comfortable attempting simple shapes and wish to make more developed pencil drawings will find this course suitable. Previous flower-drawing experience is not required. You do not need to buy or finish another course first.
